A Right Way of Speaking

I worked for a long time with an expat who complained a lot about staff who wanted more salary and always reminded me that he was working as a missionary. This was annoying because it’s true that he didn’t have a lot of money like other people but still he lived in a beautiful house, with his kids in the best school, and plenty of expensive food to eat.

I think the course helped me with patience and to know that when I speak up (and I did challenge him on this) that there is a right way of speaking so that the person you’re talking to can hear you and will want to understand. This was important in that case.
